There are many yummy recipes that you come with using oikos greek yogurt. Greek yogurt is a very flexible ingredient that you can utilize in many recipes. Here are some scrumptious deserts that you can make with Greek yogurt.

Here's one way to make strawberry and greek yogurt parfait. This dessert is made up of only 200 calories per serving and is made up of delicious layers of fat-free yogurt and the full-fat variant resulting to a rich flavor that is perfect in special occasions. In a Greek feast, a lot of dishes are heavy and is just great if followed by this dessert. Preparation time will only take around 20 minutes and it will make about 4 servings. The ingredients are 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, ½ pound of strawberries, 6 tablespoons of sugar, 1 drop of vanilla extract, 2 cups of fat-free oikos greek yogurt, ¾ cup of full-fat Greek yogurt, and 4 pieces of white bread rusks (friganies) . You may also add ¼ cup of whole milk but this is not required .
Now that you're all set, break up your bread rusks into really small pieces. Whip your oikos fat-free yogurt until smooth and creamy. Little by little pour in your sugar, full-fat yogurt, vanilla, and lemon juice. Continue to whisk them until they are fully blended. Add a drop or two of milk every now and then to make your mixture creamier . Now supply your strawberries using a soft spatula. Leave some for garnish when you are prepared to serve the dessert.

Now set up your parfait glass. Use a spoon to add your yogurt mixture in a layer. Make another layer made out of rusk pieces. Add another layer again using the yogurt mixture. Decorate it with strawberry or two.
Another dessert that you can make is a nice and light yogurt cream mousse. This cream mousse made out of greek yogurt is great in preparing parfaits. You can use this to use on tops of your cakes and shortcakes. As a dessert on its own, it's delicious when partnered with fruit syrups.
You will be needing 3 level tablespoons of confectioner's sugar, 3/4 teaspoons of unflavored granulated gelatin, 3 tablespoons of hot water, 2 cups of whip cream, and 2 1/2 cups of oikos Greek yogurt.
If you have all the ingredients ready, set to dissolve the gelatin using hot water. Whisk the cream and sugar together until it becomes thick and stiff. In a different bowl, mix the dissolved gelatin with your oikos greek yogurt until thoroughly combined. Now combine the yogurt formula and the whipped cream. Put it in the fridge and once it's cold, you're ready to serve it.
